Study of Teacher Effectiveness among Aided and Non-Aided College Teachers

Abstract

The present investigation was conducted to find out teacher effectiveness among aided and non-aided college teachers. For the present investigation, 100 teachers were randomly selected from different colleges of district Fazilka only. Teacher Effectiveness Scale by Puri and Gakhar (2010) was used. The findings of the present study revealed that there exist no significant difference between the teacher effectiveness of male, female and urban teachers of aided and non-aided colleges. But significant difference was found between the teacher effectiveness of rural teachers of aided and non-aided colleges
